Just admit it – you barely knew the country of Georgia existed before I started flooding your inbox and RSS feeds with blog posts that make you so hungry you think you’re going to burst. But now, you’re extra curious about this peculiar Eurasian nation. So, since I’ve reeled ya in, here’s a little video giving you yet another taste of the country. (Be sure to watch it until the end – I think it’s hilarious, but I’m also easily amused.)

Well edited. The photo that is the YouTube thumbnail is spectacular!

Yeah, I lucked out on that thumbnail (the other two were horrible). The only better thumbnail could have been the little boy in the wrestler-like outfit as he totally bites it. I still laugh every time I see that (because I have the sense of humor of a ten year old).

It’s true! The country is so much more beautiful than I ever imagined – if you want to see amazing green landscapes, it’s for sure the place to go.

Ok, so I’ve been kind of creeping on your blog (sorry!). I can’t help it though! I’ve traveled a lot and one of those countries was Spain, and now one of my friends is dating a Spaniard. We were googling “Spanish dating” and things of that nature- after clicking around I got to your blog. I hit “culture” cause I love reading about it, and I was so surprised to see Georgia! I’m Georgian, now living in the U.S., and I’m very glad you had the opportunity to visit my country! I’ve been to all the places in your video, and it really is even more beautiful in real life 🙂

Most people don’t know where it is, or if they do they think “Eastern Europe – dangerous! kidnappings! alcoholics! mail order brides! war!”. It’s actually a very nice country and pretty safe to travel to, with good food. It’s poor, but not dangerous. I think the most beautiful part is Imereti – it has hills and islands and wide open valleys. But every region has its charm, obviously. Glad you liked it 🙂

Haha – I love that you were creepin on my blog – creep away! Madloba for your comments 😉

What you say about Georgia is of course so true! And the food isn’t just good, it’s off-the-charts amazing! I’m already looking forward to a return trip in the future.
